Silvia Troselj - interview for RTL

The peak of the day was absolutely the moment when the excited mass saw at the video-wall the final placements in Open Ladies category. It was a very emotional moment, mostly for the only Croatian female representative Silvia Troselj, who won by only 2,2 points in front of the best ranked in Europe, Marianne Sandner from Germany. Silvia competes in  cable wakeboard from 2001, and she's also a member of B4SPORT Academy that supports talented and top Croatian athletes. The aim of the young mother in season 2006 is to keep the European ranking in top three and climb the throne at the World Championships.

The actual European champion under 15, German Dominik Guhrs won a very hard competition in Juniors, and the best in Open Men was the triple World champion Bernhard Hinterberger, also from Germany.

The competition weekend ended with the attractive "Rope Session", contest for the best tricks over obstacles - kicker and slider. In this mini spectacle the best was Mike Ketellapper from Netherlands, and to the great joy of fans third was the local 14 years old Lovro Klepac from Punat.

Cable Krk will host two more events this season:

17.06. – Krk Handi Tricks – tricks competition for Disabled

02.09. - Cro Board 2006 – Croatian & Slovenian Cable Wakeboard Championships

Denis - the best cheerleader

Another crazy weekend is over... We were so unbelievably lucky with weather that was absolutely perfect from Wednesday till Sunday, and when all the guests left the northern wind and clouds came upon us and the temperature dropped over 10 degrees in one day. Good for us...

Very important part of the competition was also the experimental program for displaying the results after each run, and we really want to thank Gyuri for software support, judges (Lior, Ralf, Miho) for quick and just judging and Jenny and Peter for hard work with data entering all day long.

Another news was the wild card trick in the finals being held as a separate, third run, so even the rider who didn't complete the second run in the finals had a chance to show their wild cards.

During the weekend the atmosphere was great thanks to a splendid DJ-moderating team - Didi, Clint and Igor. Thanks guys, you rocked as always! We also pronounced the best cheerleader, Denis Radosavljevic, who won the special award from Cable Krk for heartily and loud support to riders throughout the competition.

Many thanks to all the kind people who contributed to this event. Thanks to the Cable Krk employees for working around the clock, thanks to agency Predikat for setting up the press center and thanks to our sponsors O'Neill and Oakley.
