Lovro Klepac is the sportsman of the year of island Krk in category young Juniors! Lovro won this title as the Croatian Open Champion and 5th at the European Champs in 2007. 

Wakeboard club Krk is very proud of our best rider and we wish him luck next weekend for the 1st stop of the European cable wakeboard Tour in Great Britain! For all of you who plan to be anywhere near Krk on Friday, 13 June, Cable Krk will host the cable wakeboard competition for disabled - Krk Handi Tricks, join us and cheer for your favorites!!

Cable Krk was officially open every day till Sunday, 30 September 2007, and this year for the first time we plan to work the weekends in October. The general plan is, if the weather is OK, we'll work Friday to Sunday from 11 till 19 hours. For all info dial +385 91 262 73 02.

Even though we planned to open on Easter weekend, due to the reconstruction of the restaurant building we had to postpone the grand season opening in Krk for Friday, 20.04.2007.

On Saturday, 27 May 2006, Cable Krk hosted the first official international event this season - the first stop of the European Cable Wakeboard Tour.

Everything was just right, the weather great, the atmosphere and performance on really high level. The best Junior was German Dominik Guhrs, Silvia Troselj was the best in Open Ladies, and in Open Men the triple world champion Bernhard Hinterberger won expectedly.

The hosts are thrilled and proud of their riders. Besides Silvia winning in Open Ladies, Robert Pokovec was excellent fifth in Open Men, and at Sunday Rope Session - kicker & slider contest, 14 year old Lovro Klepac from Punat won the great third place competing with the best European riders.

02.09. Cro Board - Croatian & Slovenian Cable Wakeboard  Champs

On Saturday, 10 September, Cable Krk hosted T-Com Cro Board - second Croatian & Slovenian Cable Wakeboard Nationals. In the finals of our most important event of the season the winners were Robert Pokovec, Silvia Troselj and Luka Pasic. The weather was perfect, atmosphere too, and the organization wonderful :) Croatian and Slovenian riders showed they mean business. In May 2006 Cable Krk will host the first stop of the European Cable wakeboard Tour, and by this Saturday performance of our riders we do plan to have representatives in finals of all categories.
